We are pleased to announce that the IABSE Congress Incheon 2026 will be held from September 16 to 18, 2026, at Songdo Convensia, Incheon, Korea. The International Association for Bridge and Structural Engineering (IABSE) is the world’s largest academic organization in the field of bridge and structural engineering. The Congress is IABSE’s most prominent event and is expected to attract over 1,000 experts and professionals from around the world. Abstract submissions and Special Session proposals can be made via the official congress website: www.iabse.org/incheon2026. ● Deadline for Abstract Submission: September 15, 2025, Abstracts Submission ● Deadline for Special Session Proposal Submission: July 31, 2025, Special Sessions Submission Under the theme "Structural Engineering Towards Evolution and Hyper-Expansion," the Congress will cover a wide range of topics exploring the next generation of structural engineering technologies, including the following eight sub-themes: ● Expanded habitats and networks ● Disaster-resilient and risk mitigation ● Smart structures, AI and digital transformation ● Sustainability, clean energy and carbon neutrality ● Structural health monitoring, operation and maintenance ● Innovative structures and construction technologies ● Advanced structural materials ● State-of-the-art design and analysis For further information, please refer to the official website (www.iabse.org/incheon2026) and the attached documents.
