In the "Seoul National University Institute of Construction and Environmental Engineering" section of the K-Future Tech On-Site Report featured in the Tech & Science section of the Korea Economic Daily, the research goals and core technologies of FLORA (Floating Infrastructure Research Center) were introduced.

Seoul National University’s Floating Infrastructure Research Group (FLORA), led by Kim Ho-kyung, director of Seoul National University’s Construction and Environment Research Institute (professor of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering), is currently developing ‘expandable modular floating structure technology,’ which is considered the next-generation urban infrastructure technology........
